Coffee

Q: How often do you roast?

A: We roast daily to ensure you receive the freshest coffee possible.

Q: Do you add flavorings to your coffee?

A: We never add anything to any coffee we roast. They are 100% just coffee beans! Our products are of the highest quality and the coffee tasting notes are based on growing region, elevation, coffee variety and roasting processes.

Q: Do you carry different roast levels of coffee?

A: We categorize our coffees into five different roast levels. Light, Light/Medium, Medium, Medium/Dark and Dark. Roast level refers to the amount of time the coffee bean is roasted which correlates to the final color of the bean. A lighter roast is roasted for less time than a dark roast. Each roast level offers different advantages or disadvantages to how the coffee will taste when brewed.

Q: How dark is your dark roasted coffee?

A: We have found that roasting coffee until it is a charred mess really doesn't taste all that great. Our Fig Leaf Reserve Roastis our darkest roast and considered a French Roast with some oils present on the outside of the bean. It is not swimming in oil like some dark roasts floating around the market.

Q: Can you grind my coffee order?

A: Yes, we can grind. While most coffee roasters offer whole bean and drip grind only, we offer a bunch more options. We offer Whole Bean, Coarse, French Press, Chemex, Drip, Pour-Over, AeroPress/K-Cup, Espresso and Extra Fine. How's that for selection!?

Q: How do I make Cold Brew Coffee?

The process of making cold brew coffee is a bit different from your drip brewer. A drip brewer extracts coffee flavors by using hot water. The cold brew process uses cold water and time to extract the natural coffee flavors.
